Advice to parents with kids in Childrens Hospital

You are swimming in uncharted, dark waters. The universal order that governs mortality has been turned upside down. And all I can confidently tell you is this.

You'll have to wash your hands a lot. The hospital offers three ways to do this: a spray, a lotion and soap. Rotate them or your skin will fall apart.

I wish I had something more insightful, but all I've got is that. And this. Love your kids. Love them so much and so often. If you do that, and the handwashing thing, then you're doing what you can.
